This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1.About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SoundRadar — the website, the web app you can install to your home screen, and any related services (together, “SoundRadar”). SoundRadar is provided by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using SoundRadar, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use SoundRadar.
[COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER] — confirm and complete.
2.Who can use SoundRadar
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, and at least the minimum age below. You agree to give accurate account information and to keep one account for yourself.
[MINIMUM AGE — confirm with counsel for each launch country]
3.What SoundRadar does
SoundRadar helps you keep up with music releases from the artists, genres, regions and scenes you choose. We collect release information from public sources, show how confident we are about each release and its date, and send alerts and reminders you've asked for.
SoundRadar is not a streaming service. When you choose to listen, we link you to third-party services such as Spotify, YouTube or Apple Music.
4.Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure to keep it secure.
5.Alerts, reminders and calendar exports
You control which alerts and reminders you receive and can change or turn them off at any time. Delivery depends on your device, browser, operating system and network, so we can't promise that every alert arrives, or arrives at an exact time.
If you add releases to a third-party calendar or subscribe to a calendar feed, the calendar provider's own terms apply to that calendar. You can revoke a calendar feed link in your settings.
6.Release information and its accuracy
Release details come from artists, labels, publications, streaming catalogues and other public sources. Plans change: releases get delayed, renamed or cancelled. We label uncertain information as such — for example “Expected” or “Date not confirmed” — and we update releases when we learn more.
Please don't rely on SoundRadar for decisions where an error could cause you loss, such as ticketing or commercial planning. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll review it.
7.Third-party services and links
SoundRadar links to services we don't control, including streaming and calendar providers. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. SoundRadar is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Spotify, Apple, Google or YouTube, or by any artist or label shown.
8.Acceptable use
When using SoundRadar, you agree not to:
- copy, scrape or harvest SoundRadar's content or data by automated means without our written permission;
- interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to SoundRadar or its systems;
- reverse engineer the service except where the law allows it;
- use SoundRadar to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your connection with any artist, label or organisation.
9.Intellectual property
SoundRadar's software, design, text and illustrations belong to us or our licensors. Artist names, artwork, titles and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown to identify releases.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve SoundRadar without any obligation to you.
10.Pricing
If we introduce paid features, we'll describe the price and terms clearly and ask for your agreement before you're charged.
[PRICING STATUS — confirm whether SoundRadar is free at launch]
11.Disclaimers
We work hard to keep SoundRadar accurate and available, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
[DISCLAIMER LANGUAGE — to be drafted by counsel for each launch jurisdiction]
12.Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
[LIMITATION OF LIABILITY — to be drafted by counsel]
13.Ending your use
You can stop using SoundRadar and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and explain why.
14.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as SoundRadar changes. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when the Terms were last updated.
15.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws named below, without affecting any rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
[GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION — confirm with counsel]
